The envelope punch board turned out to be such a useful piece of equipment, that I wasn't quite sure whether I needed the gift box punch board when Stampin' Up! put it in the Autumn Winter catalogue. How wrong was I?
This beautiful box is similar to the demonstration I did at Sharon's workshop. I say similar as I forgot to take pictures of it before I left and as my demo project is always the hostess gift, I had to make another one!
It's 3¼" x 3¼" and then 4" tall. All I had to do was read the instructions off the board - use a piece of paper 11" x 11" (I used the gorgeous Under the Tree specialty DSP), link up at the L start line, score the vertical and horizontal and then use the XL diagonal line. It's really quick, even though you do have to turn the paper and do that four times! I also like that you can never lose the instructions. I've lost count of the time I've bought a new gadget and it's been left gathering dust as I can't remember how to use it!
What do you think about the ribbon? It's the Cherry Cobbler sheer linen ribbon. I've been saving it for something special, and I think it's going to look lovely adorning all of my presents this year. I'd better order another roll...
