Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!
Stampin' Up! have outdone themselves again this year. I was completely overwhelmed by all the beautiful new products available in the new catalogue, and admit that even though I have been looking through it for a month and a half now, I am still finding new things that I just HAVE to order.
I wanted to highlight something completely new, and also something that you might have overlooked since it's launch. For my colour combination, I chose the new In Colors, Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon and added Smoky Slate as a neutral...
Photopolymer stamps are a big deal in the new catalogue. Yes, they've been available to the North America market for a while and I've been looking at all the sets launching very enviously, but now we have them too! I've used the 13-stamp set Bravo which has the whole of pages 132-133 devoted to it. It's worth it - the fonts used in this sentiment set are just gorgeous. Did I share that I was a font addict yet? And the best part is that this set of 13 stamps is only £22.95. Just one of the many advantages of photopolymer is the price!
I also used one of the new photopolymer border sets, Boutique Borders. I wasn't sad to see the wheels go as I think of all the cardstock I ruined trying to line them up to get a good background pattern. It was so easy to create this background! OK, so I didn't get it right first time, mainly because my pet rabbit Poppy decided to nudge my foot at a crucial moment, but it was perfect on the second attempt. The flowers are made using the Flower Fair framelits set. They coordinate with another amazing photopolymer set, Flower Patch (and I would recommend the bundle!), but I wanted to see the effect I could get by inlaying the complementary die cuts. I love it - what do you think?
Now I'm not going to share a pattern for this box with you. Why not? Because it's in MDS! I love it that MDS is in our annual catalogue this year, and remember that most of the MDS products available are found in the online shop rather than in any catalogue as there is SO much to choose from. All I had to do was set up my Silhouette to cut the .svg file and I had a perfectly cut box to decorate and assemble. I used one of the exclusive hostess sets, Let Your Hair Down, for the sentiment - another great use of fonts by Stampin' Up! and very easy to earn free.
I hope you're enjoying the blog hop so far - keep going, as I know there is a lot more inspiration to come!
